Gifts of the Grandmother
Herb is unique gifts of nature in the world for maintaining natural health of a person. Our
ancient ancestors or tribes when they face common health problems always take medicine made from herbs in
their home. There were no doctors or surgeons for medical help but there were traditional medicines of
native plants/herbs for common illness.
But that traditions/knowledge are being pushed aside and knowledge of native medicine
is on the verge of being lost forever. Natural medicines are being ignored in favour of western
science.
Here is drive to keep the memory and knowledge alive of grandmother of what she knows
of the ancient medicine practice. Here we feel proud and honour to pass and put the knowledge in
writing what she had quoting the title 'gifts of grandmother'.
